We had submitted the first version to Seattle last year. Getting into film festivals is tough. There are typically about ten times as many films submitted as there are open slots. We didn't make Seattle last year, so we re-cut Dirk for version two. We just learned that we didn't get into Santa Barbara. Fingers crossed for the next four! But, hey, we made it into IMDB.
